(made in 1974)
The Ridge Rider is a Sussex Delta Sailwings design of a light weight hang glider, utilizing the Rogallo Sailwing principle, it has been developed from three earlier models of varying size and geometry, and is judged to give the best compromise between the slower sinking speed of the large sailwings and the good manoeuverability obtained with a small machine. Good manoeuverability is vital for safe hang gliding.
